Account Deletion Requests

HappyMe App, Developed by Happy Solutions Ltd.

When you use the HappyMe app, you are required to create an account. This is so we can associate the data you enter in the app with your account, along with any data created to track your progress in the app.

If you no longer want your account with HappyMe, you can delete your account within the app, by going to the Main Menu > Profile and then click Delete Account button

This will permanently and instantly delete your account. We will receive a notification when a deletion request is made, as we may need to manually delete your details from other systems used in the management of your account. For example, if you have opted into receiving email newsletters, we will use Mailchimp to send out these emails. We will manually review all third party services used as outlined in the Privacy Policy and may need to manually delete your associated data.

If you have deleted the App from your device before deleting your account, you can send us a request to delete your account. Please email support@happymeapp.co.uk stating you wish your account to be deleted, citing the email address you used to sign up on HappyMe as we will use this to identify your account. You must email us using the same email address that was used to create your HappyMe account so we can be sure the account holder is making the request.

When your account is deleted, all data collected will be deleted, with the exception of Analytics Data sent to Firebase/Google Analytics. This contains anonymous analytics data which tracks your usage of the app. This data will be deleted eventually according to the Google Analytics Data Retention Period of 90 days, after which it will be deleted. To reiterate, no personally identifiable information is stored in this Analytics App usage data.

If you would like certain data deleted from your account, rather than the whole account being deleted, you can send a data deletion request to support@happymeapp.co.uk

Please ensure you email us using the email account used to register your account, otherwise we may not be able to carry out your data deletion request.
